BuildCaliber is a coaching service for professionals in every field who are building a profile for an EB-1A, O-1A or EB-2 NIW petition. How our coaching is different
- A person reads your record. Your coach maps your achievements to each USCIS criterion by hand. Nothing is decided by a scoring algorithm.
- Evidence first. We start with what you have already done and how to prove it, then look at what to build next. A strong petition is mostly well-documented evidence, not clever wording.
- Every field. The criteria apply to research, engineering, business, medicine, education, the arts and athletics. We adapt the plan to how recognition works in your field.
- One clear hand-off. When the profile is ready, independent partner attorneys review and verify the evidence and take it from there, so nothing is lost between coaching and filing.
Who we are not the right fit for
We would rather say no early than take on work we cannot do well. Coaching is probably not right for you if you want:
- A guaranteed approval. Nobody can honestly promise one.
- Paid "fast-track" publications, purchased awards or memberships, or letters written for people who do not know your work.
- Legal representation only. In that case, go straight to a licensed immigration attorney.
Beyond immigration
Many of the professionals we coach are also building companies. We offer startup coaching on go-to-market, sales, business development and expansion, and H-1B founder coaching for H-1B holders who want their own company as a second sponsor. Our H-1B founder guide explains how that route works.
What we do not do
We are not a law firm. We do not give legal advice, prepare petitions or file anything with the government, and we do not promise outcomes. When your profile is ready, independent partner attorneys take over, review and verify the evidence, and prepare the petition.

Is BuildCaliber a law firm?
No. BuildCaliber is a coaching service. We do not give legal advice and do not prepare or file petitions. Independent, licensed immigration attorneys do that.
How is coaching different from hiring an immigration attorney?
An attorney gives legal advice and prepares and files the petition. Coaching comes earlier and runs alongside: we help you understand which criteria your record can meet, find and organize the evidence, and strengthen gaps with genuine achievements, so that when you reach an attorney your profile is ready to review.
Does a person or software assess my profile?
A person. Every profile is reviewed by a coach who maps your record to each criterion by hand. We use software to organize tasks and documents, not to decide whether you qualify.
Do you coach founders and startups as well?
Yes. Besides immigration profile coaching, we offer one-on-one startup coaching on go-to-market, sales, business development and expansion, and coaching for H-1B holders building their own company as a second sponsor.
